Merit Award: FiduciaEdge Technologies ,Product: Trustworthy Shared 5G O-RAN

Taiwan’s FiduciaEdge received the Merit Award in this year’s Mobileheroes Global competition. The team focuses on highly trusted cybersecurity technologies for edge computing and introduced an innovative TSO system to address the high costs enterprises face when building 5G private networks. The solution enables private and public network traffic to safely share the same 5G O-RAN infrastructure while maintaining strict information isolation, significantly reducing deployment and maintenance expenses.

Judges’ Award: Angel Eye,Product: B5G-Based Real-Time Perception and Alert System in Pedestrian-First Smart City

The Angel Eye team from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan received this year’s Judges’ Award at the Mobileheroes Global competition. Guided by their professors, the team showcased forward-looking B5G/6G communication applications through their innovative system, “Angel Eyes.” The system adopts Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) technology, enabling base stations to perform radar-like sensing while transmitting signals, overcoming the limitations of traditional camera-based traffic monitoring in blind spots or adverse weather. Without relying on cameras, Angel Eye uses communication signals to detect pedestrian and vehicle movements in real time, achieving centimeter-level positioning accuracy and offering a novel solution for smart transportation and road safety.
