To participate in Mobileheroes Global, applicants must register online via the link provided on the Mobileheroes website. Please note that the registration deadline is 12:00 (GMT+8) on June 30, 2025.
Each company/person is limited to one application submission.
Registration as a company is not required. We welcome educational institutions (high school or equivalent degrees or above), academic and research institutions, government or non-profit organizations, startups, Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) and telecommunications technologies enthusiasts to apply.
For each finalist team that attends the Final Review Day and Award Ceremony, only one member's flight expenses (economy class) will be covered, along with accommodation at designated hotels. Reimbursement will be made to the payee after the event.
Yes, if your company is registered in Taiwan, there will be a 10% tax deduction. For entities outside Taiwan, the tax deduction will be 20%.
There is no limit to the number of people in your company for this competition. The definition of a team in this competition is based on the members listed in your application. However, in the application form, we encourage you to list the important contributors to the project or the members who will represent your company for the virtual pitch and final demo.
All required documents and pitch sessions are conducted in English.
- Participant certifies that the entry of work does not infringe any intellectual property, such as patent, copyright, or trade secret, of a third party.
- Should the Organizing Team determine the entry of work has been involved in infringement of a third party’s intellectual property right, the Organizing Team is entitled to disqualify the participant from the Competition or the award and reclaim prize amount, trophy, and certificate, while the participant agrees to assume any legal liability thereof.
- Provided that an entry of work infringes a third party’s intellectual property right or is involved in dispute or violation of other rules and regulations herein, such infringement or dispute is subject to the arbitration of the judging panel; the participant may not challenge the outcome of the arbitration.
- Note that an entry of work might lose novelty in terms of patent owing to participation in the Competition and influence the right of patent application, therefore participant is to pay extra care in this regard and is to file an application to the Intellectual Property Office under Ministry of Economic Affairs by his/herself prior to the participation in the Competition.
Pursuant to the provisions of Personal Data Protection Act, for the interests of and services to be delivered to participants, it is necessary for us to collect, process, and use the information you provide regarding the entry of work, personal name, name of corporation, name of school, department, e-mail, phone number, or any identifiable information for the ease of information communication, processing, and analysis for our service delivery. Within the scope of the aforementioned purposes for data collection, we shall use such information over the Internet, e-mail, hardcopy, or any other legitimate means, until such purposes no longer exist. The ones that use such information include the Organizing Team, Sponsors, and any entity that engages business with the Competition. Should you consider our services no longer required or have concerns with the use, you are entitled to make an inquiry or review, request a copy, supplement or correct, demand deletion of personal data or cessation of collecting, processing, or use such information. The Organizing Team is to keep the information you provide in a proper manner and in confidence.
- Innovation: Refers to the novelty of the Applications, which improve or solve existing problems.
- Technology readiness: Assesses whether the proposed application services are achievable with current technology and if the team possesses relevant technical and professional knowledge.
- Business Potential (in Taiwan is a plus): Refers to the feasibility for the Applications to find collaboration partners in Taiwan or if their services have commercial development potential in Taiwan.
- Sustainable development: Evaluates whether the Applications propose a future, can operate/sustainably develop in practical settings, and provide relevant supporting data/evidence.
The top 10 finalists will receive the invaluable opportunity for an online mentoring session with both international and Taiwanese experts. Additionally, during the Finale/Awarding week, the Organizer will host networking events and activities specifically tailored for the finalists to facilitate meaningful connections and interactions.
To participate in this competition, individuals must be high school students or 18 years of age or older.
